2019 Fall Conference Parking

KYACDA Parking Information, University of KY:
  • Memorial Colosseum Lot WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE for BUSES this year!
Here is the official word about UK parking next weekend. Due to there being a home football game (we still don't have kickoff time), we have been instructed to park BUSSES in the Scott Street lot located off of Upper/Limestone. They can drop off at Singletary (corner of Rose and Euclid/Ave. of Champions), but they will want to travel and park at the Scott St. lot after drop off.

Directions from Singletary Center to Scott St. lot for BUSSES:
From the front loop of Singletary, make a hard LEFT on Rose, then an immediate LEFT on Euclid.  Travel down Euclid/Avenue of Champions until you HAVE to turn LEFT on Upper (one way to the left.)  Get in the right lane. Travel approximately 100 yards (pass the front of Taylor Education building) and then turn RIGHT on Scott Street.  Busses should park in that Scott Street parking lot.  (If you pass the fire station, you've missed Scott Street, oops.)

At pickup time, have busses make a slight right onto Upper, then immediately cross Limestone/Upper (this is Nicholasville Road that splits right at Scott Street) and head onto campus via Administration Drive. (This is technically the MAIN entrance to campus.) We have been instructed to send busses up Administration Drive (it's another big loop.)  At the Top of the loop, TURN RIGHT on PATTERSON. This will bring you down the hill and behind Singletary. Busses will load on Patterson at dismissal after Friday night's concert. Teachers can escort their students out of the back entrance/performer entrance of Singletary to load busses.

Parking for cars/parents/chaperones:
If you are NOT BRINGING a bus, campus parking can be pretty messy. A few options include parking in the following places: Lynden Walk lot (goes off of patrol on Friday at 3:30), anywhere along Rose Ln or side streets, Memorial Colosseum (students will be moving cars from Kroger Field to this lot, so I don't anticipate many spots being open.) Saturday, send parents to Parking Structure 5, located on Limestone. Or, send them to various lots around campus. Encourage carpooling for sure!
